The pool area was such a blast! Loved the layout with comfy loungers. Our room wasn’t ready at check-in, which was a bummer though. 😕

A charming stay with a twist
The Dunes Hotel offers a cozy ambiance with very friendly service. The pool area was a peaceful oasis where I spent evenings soaking up the stars, and many restaurants are just a short walk away.
However, the hot water situation was quite disappointing. Several days, I faced lukewarm showers, and the staff mentioned they were adjusting the boiler, which left me feeling frustrated. The elevator was also out of order, which meant hauling my bags up to the second floor without prior notice.

Would recommend for a flying visit
Cozy room, inviting pool, with a fitness centre and free wi-fi, perfectly located just 5 km from the city center for easy exploration.

the lighting was so awful and dim, it felt like living in a cave. And, I didn’t even get a microwave in my room! How do you expect me to reheat my gourmet leftovers? I almost thought about giving this place a decent review, but the $45 fee per night was just too much to ignore.

9/10
I tell ya, that big ol' heated pool was a real treat after a long day. The room was sleek and cozy—comfiest bed I ever slept in. Only wish they had a lil’ bit cleaner pool. Got my place for breakfast just a short walk away, and sunshine just made it better. I even loved loungin’ in the hammock!

If you’re on the hunt for a killer dining scene, don’t miss Robot Pig right across the lot—a must-try for some delectable eats! My stay was also a dream—the comfy beds had me sleeping like a baby, and the renovated patio was a perfect spot to soak in the vibes.
On the flip side, I did find myself annoyed at times having to punch in a 6-digit code to gain access everywhere. a 4-digit code would have sufficed. Plus, the showerhead spray felt like a light rain, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea—a matter of personal preference, I suppose!

missingWrote a review on Oct 19spacious roomcomfortable bedconfusing layout
Decent room layout providing ample space for a couple. Features a comfortable king-size bed with a sofa bed for extra versatility.
Confusing building layout with no signage for elevator locations, rendering the experience disorienting. Awful lighting in the bedroom and bathroom sink area, which is too dim to adequately see anything—just some low-wattage lamps provide minimal illumination. I found the shower had odd panels just leaning against the wall, which felt unfinished. Overall, the lack of basic conveniences and maintenance made for a less enjoyable stay.

Just a nice choice for a weekend respite in Palm Springs with very good value for money. The heated pool was a great way to unwind after a long day enjoying the sun. Make sure to check out nearby breakfast spots for a nice start to your day.
